Magic World Childcare

Magic World is a place where you can feel comfortable that your child is in the greatest of care. Throughout the most important years of your child’s life, you can be confident that the experiences they share with us are enriching, educational, and fun.

Educational Philosophy

One of the hardest things for a parent to do is to leave their child in the care of someone else. At Magic World, our focus is to provide a safe, warm, and friendly environment for children to grow while giving them the love and care they need, just like at home. We believe the beginning years of a child’s life are the ones that are most important. No two children are alike and through individualized attention, we focus on the needs of each child to help them learn and reach their fullest potential. Our job is to provide a place where children know they are accepted, loved, and protected.

Each day we promote independence and self-determination. Children are encouraged to build friendships, learn new skills, and to be individuals.  Incorporating reading, music, art, and science, we teach our students the foundations they need to achieve in days ahead. Throughout this process we work one on one with each child, instilling in them the necessary skills to be successful in their future.

Magic World is a place where you can feel comfortable that your child is in the greatest care.  Throughout the most important years of your child’s life, you can be confident that the experiences they share with us are enriching, educational, and fun.

Keystone Stars

Keystone STARS is an initiative of the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) to improve, support, and recognize the continuous quality improvement efforts of early learning programs in Pennsylvania. The program provides childcare facilities with standards to be met in order to move to the next star level. There are four levels in the program Star 1-4. Once a program has earned a Star 4 they must continue to meet these standards to stay at this level. The website provides families with a tool to help search for Star facilities in their area and offers a helpful guide to choosing quality childcare

Magic World was determined to gain a STAR 4 within our program and in just a short amount of time, we achieved that level and work every day to provide the highest quality care to all our children.

What is keystone stars?

Keystone Stars is a quality rating scale that helps centers establish the best programs possible for the families they serve. They focus on continuous quality in many areas such as health and safety, staff education, classroom environment, curriculum and assessment, and partnerships with families.

Magic World has attained a STAR 4, which is the highest level you can reach in the STARS program, but we don’t plan on stopping there!

Magic World is a great place with wonderful staff. Both my children attended the Pre-K and Summer program last year. Miss Brittany and Miss Brianne do a phenomenal job with running the childcare center, programs, staffing and field trips. I like the security measures that they have in place to keep the children safe.
I highly recommend Magic World Child Care Center.
